Pet Listings & Seller Responsibilities

As a pet seller, you agree that:

• You must comply with specific criteria, and the application process for obtaining a breeding license can vary by local council.
• You must adhere to the UK's Animal Welfare Regulations 2018, which established regulations and standards for pets and other animal welfare, record-keeping, and facility conditions.
• You will provide accurate details about the pets you list, including health conditions, vaccinations, and breed authenticity.
• By the Endangered Species Act 1976, you will not advertise unauthorized or endangered species.
• You will not misrepresent the pet's condition, breed, or background.
• Listings must include real and current images of the pet.
• You will not list pets as gifts or giveaways.
• You will not list pets under six months old if they were imported.
• You will not sell pets for breeding purposes without a valid breeding license.
• Enacted in April 2020, Lucy's Law prohibits the professional third-party sale of puppies and kittens in the UK.

Lucy's Law

• Minimum Age Requirement—Puppies and kitties must be 8 weeks or older before being rehomed. Third-party sellers are prohibited from selling them under 6 months old.
• Mother Must Be Present—Always ensure the puppy or kitten is with its mother in its residence. Avoid sellers making excuses for the mother's absence.
• Avoid Puppy Farms & Illegal Sales – Look for warning signs like multiple breeds being sold, sellers using different contact numbers, and pressure to buy without proper health checks or documentation.

Buyer Responsibilities

When purchasing or adopting a pet through Titans Pet UK, you acknowledge that:

• We are not answerable for the accuracy of seller information or pet conditions.
• You should visit the seller's location before making any payment.
• You should verify all health records, vaccinations, and microchip details.
• Transactions should be conducted safely and responsibly.
• You understand that pet ownership requires a long-term commitment.
• You will ensure that your home environment is suitable for the pet you adopt or purchase.

Payment & Fees

• Some services on Titans Pet UK may require payments, such as premium listings.
• Payments are processed via protected third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• No refunds will be issued for listings removed due to T&Cs violations.
• Payment disputes must be resolved through the third-party processor.
• Sellers must adhere to UK consumer protection laws when accepting payments.

Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Engage in unethical breeding or pet flipping.
• List stolen or illegally obtained animals.
• Sell or promote pets for use in fighting or illegal activities.
• Misuse our platform for scams, misleading ads, or harassment.
• Promote unrelated services or products.
• List pets for sale that are not in the UK.
• Mislead potential buyers about the health or breed of a pet.

Account Suspension & Termination

Titans Pet UK secures the right to discontinue or permanently restrict accounts that:

• Violate these T&Cs.
• Engage in fraudulent activities.
• Receive multiple complaints from users.
• Attempt to circumvent our policies.
• Fail to comply with UK animal welfare regulations.

Liability & Disclaimers

• Titans Pet UK acts as a marketplace linking pet buyers and sellers. We do not own, breed, or inspect listed pets.
• We are not liable for any disputes, injuries, damages, or financial losses resulting from transactions on our platform.
• Users are responsible for conducting proper due diligence before completing transactions.
• Our platform may experience technical issues; we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Titans Pet UK is not responsible for the actions of users, including fraudulent or misleading behavior.

Privacy & Data Protection
